Jockeys Kody Nestor and Daniel Northey appear to have escaped relatively lightly after their mounts fell in separate incidents in a race at Narromine.

Northey was taken to Dubbo Hospital after Monday’s incident with concussion and a possible hip injury.

Nestor walked back to the jockeys’ room unaided but complaining of general soreness after being catapulted high in the air before landing on the ground.
