Jake Noonan is set to make his return to race riding at Mornington, almost four months after he suffered a broken leg in a race fall.

Noonan has been back riding trackwork for the past four weeks and is booked for two rides at Thursday’s meeting, both for his father, trainer Tony Noonan.

The jockey, who won the Group One Robert Sangster Stakes on Precious Gem in May, suffered the injury in a fall at Pakenham later that month.
