Race 1 – Class 1 Handicap (1000m)

The Real Boss hammered the field on debut at Toowoomba by just under six lengths and we believe it should follow that up with another win. This colt looks to be a star of the future.

Race 1 tip: The Real Boss to win ($2.25 at Crownbet)

Race 2 – Class 2 Handicap (1200m)

Let’s Party Marty is resuming after a seven month break and is looking to continue the form which saw it win and finish second across two runs in its debut preparation. The horse has trialed well leading into this race and looks to be the runner with the most upside coming into the contest.

Race 2 tip: Let’s Party Marty to win ($1.55 at Neds)

Race 3 – Maiden Handicap (1100m)

Doom has recorded three second-placed finishes in five races and can win here. The horse gets a nice gate and a claim here, so expect Doom right into the mix here.

Race 3 tip: Doom to win ($3.70 at Crownbet)

Race 4 – Maiden Handicap (1100m)

Tobasco improved sharply in its last-start and we think it will be right in the mix here. The three-year-old will likely go forward from barrier seven and try and pinch it from the head of affairs.

Race 4 tip: Tobasco to win ($10 at William Hill)

Race 5 – Maiden Plate (1350m)

Miss Powder Keg has never missed a placing in its career and looks terrifically placed to win its first-ever race. The horse missed out narrowly first-up at the Sunshine Coast as a short-priced favourite where not a lot went right, so expect a more mature run from the daughter of Power here.

Race 5 tip: Corrs to win ($4.20 at Crownbet)

Race 6 – Class 3 Handicap (1200m)

Witness has been in stellar form across its last four runs, winning twice and placing second in the other two runs. Those two loses were by a combined half a length, which means to us Witness is by far the best credentialed runner and should be in the finish once again.

Race 6 tip: Witness to win at William Hill

Race 7 – Class 5 Handicap (1350m)

Runway Ready is chasing a hat-trick after delivering a brilliant win at Randwick last-start on January 6. That Highway Handicap win looms as the perfect platform to launch its career. We think Runway Ready will deliver a third-straight success.

Race 7 tip: Runway Ready to win at Crownbet

Race 8 – Class 2 Plate (1666m)

Mr Dumont gets a great gate to repeat the winning formula from Doomben on January 3. The horse skips a grading but the maiden win in a tough field proves to us it can be in the mix here.

Race 8 tip: Mr Dumont to win at Ladbrokes
