Evielee didn’t fire on debut, but expect a quick turnaround for the Kevin Myers-trained runner. Punters should also be expecting big odds and it represents some value in this.

Race 1 tip: Evielee to place at Neds.com.au

Race 2 – BM65 Handicap (1200m)

Our Teddy Boy didn’t hit the line with purpose last start, but its win fresh up was impressive. Put the last start failure down to second-up syndrome and stick with it.

Race 3 – BM85 Handicap (1200m)

Celtic Cross won well fresh up this campaign before running a gallant second placing last start. Its sixth last start was fair given the opposition and she should give punters a good sight here.

Race 4 – BM85 Handicap (2180m)

Can You Hear Me made a loud noise two starts back when winning at Ascot Park and it wasn’t far away when second last start. He will be ridden by Alysha Collett and that’s enough to see it go close.

Race 4 tip: Can You Hear Me to win at Neds.com.au

Race 5 – Maiden Plate (1645m)

Zah Wanted went close when second last start and jockey Jason Laking is in good form. Carrying 59kg could make it tough, but it’s in form and should go well at each way odds.

Race 5 tip: Zah Wanted to win at CrownBet.com.au

Race 6 – Maiden Plate (1645m)

Prized Pins ran a much better race last start when second and that form should sit well here. The Myers-trained runner gets a claimer in the saddle and drawing the outside barriers won’t be an issue at this time of the day.

Race 6 tip: Prized Pins to win at Neds.com.au

Race 7 – BM65 Handicap (1645m)

Boysway is another Myers-trained runner which should be around the mark. The six-year-old has won only three starts, but it has been around the mark in plenty of runs and this shouldn’t be too difficult.

Race 7 tip: Boysway to win at Sportsbet.com.au

Race 8 – Miss Scenicland Stakes (1645m)

Former northern runner Maid of Steel looks a good chance at odds. The Andrew Carston-trained runner finished a handy third last time out and that form looks good enough to take out this even race.

Race 8 tip: Maid of Steel to win at CrownBet.com.au

Race 9 – BM75 Handicap (1645m)

Zed Em was a model of consistency last campaign when winning four of its eight races. That campaign also included multiples placings and anything near that form should see it winning this.

Race 9 tip: Zed Em to win at Neds.com.au
