Race 1 – Maiden Handicap (1500m)
A win has been a long time coming for Happy Hustler. The horse has placed in three-straight events, and with the bottom weight it will be right in the frame.
Race 1 tip: Happy Hustler to win ($3.30 at Neds)
Race 2 – Maiden Handicap (1300m)
Monsieur Sisu debuted brilliantly without breaking though, finishing second behind hot prospect Toryjoy by a nose. If it runs up to that race it’ll be taking this race out.
Race 2 tip: Monsieur Sisu to win ($1.80 at Sportsbet)
Race 3 – Maiden Plate (1300m)
Redemption Road improved dramatically in its last-start run at this track, finishing within a length of the winner on May 10. If natural progression continues Redemption Road will be hard to beat.
Race 3 tip: Redemption Road to win ($3 at Sportsbet)
Race 4 – Maiden (1800m)
Hiero finished within a length of breaking through on May 10 and if the improvement continues it is taking this race out.
Race 4 tip: Hiero to win ($3.50 at Ladbrokes)
Race 5 – Class 1 Handicap (1400m)
Wisdom Tree is looking to go back-to-back after breaking the maiden. It was a stylish win on that occasion at Newcastle and we’re backing it to continue the quality form here.
Race 5 tip: Wisdom Tree to win ($4.80 at William Hill)
Race 6 – Class 1 Handicap (1400m)
The second-up Pride Of Darci will be fitter coming into this event. The horse finished just a length off the winner on that day despite not getting a lot of luck and this race is a step below the listed company it has been heavily competitive in previously.
Race 6 tip: Pride Of Darci to win ($2.50 at Neds)
Race 7 – Benchmark 65 (1000m)
Godolphin runner Wander is having its third-ever start and we’re expecting a solid run. The horse debuted in style before missing out as a short priced favourite on May 3. The horse gets 1kg less than stablemate Florid, which should prove beneficial.
Race 7 tip: Wander to win ($2.30 at William Hill)
Race 8 – Benchmark 60 (2000m)
Yorkshire Rock has been racing in good form recently and could surprise at odds. With a low weight and a decent gate the horse should be right in the mix.
Race 8 tip: Yorkshire Rock to win ($15 at William Hill)
