Race 1 – BM61 Handicap (1000m)

Bridyn May was a solid winner last time out and that form should carry over to this. The Scott Aspery-trained runner was unable to win last preparation so it’s already off to a better start.

Race 1 tip: Bridyn May to win at Neds.com.au

Race 2 – Maiden Plate (2100m)

New Horizons has been knocking on the door of a win after three placings from its last four starts. The John O’Shea-trained runner gets the inside draw and a senior jockey in the saddle and that could make the winning difference.

Race 2 tip: New Horizons to win at CrownBet.com.au

Race 3 – BM68 Handicap (1600m)

No Effort Needed returned to form with a last start placing, having finished seventh fresh up. Jason Dreamer lines up the each way chance and we think it will be tough to beat against an even field.

Race 4 – Maiden Plate (1000m)

Laser finished off well enough for fifth on debut and expect improvement out of the Peter and Paul Snowden stables. It has drawn well in barrier six and it’s good to see Blake Shinn booked in to ride.

Race 4 tip: Laser to win at Neds.com.au

Race 5 – Maiden Handicap (1100m)

Thirty Knots is on debut for Bjorn Baker and in-form jockey Jason Collett. It has drawn wide for its first race in barrier 11, but expect some early pace to be shown.

Race 5 tip: Thirty Knots to win at Neds.com.au

Race 6 – Takeover Target Quality (1200m)

Chetwood didn’t fire in a tough race fresh up, but the James Cummings-trained runner has plenty of ability. It showed that by winning four consecutive races earlier on and that form should take it close to winning.

Race 6 tip: Chetwood to win at CrownBet.com.au

Race 7 – C3 Plate (1100m)

Spending to Win looked good without winning last time in work. The Snowden-trained runner opened its account with consecutive placings and a win doesn’t look far off.

Race 7 tip: Spending to Win at Sportsbet.com.au
