Gosford double for trainer Jeremy Gask

Trainer Jeremy Gask has had a double at Gosford with his second and third Australian runners since he returned from a long stint in England.

Originally from Adelaide, Gask spent a decade in England where his best horse was durable sprinter Medicean Man, runner-up in the 2015 King’s Stand Stakes.

His first runner from his new Scone base was Tim’s Principal who ran a close second at his home track on May 11 and on Thursday joined Spirit Of Elijah as a Gosford winner.

Both are owned by Michael Abdallah who also bred and raced Tim’s Principal’s half sister, multiple stakes winner Avoid Lightning.
