Full form & tips for Cranbourne, Friday December 29

FRIDAY night racing returns to Cranbourne as the outer Melbourne suburb delivers a terrific eight race card heading into the weekend.

We love our Friday night racing at Horse Betting HQ, and after plenty of success tipping both at Moonee Valley and at Cranbourne in the past, we are certain we have put together a list of selections that will be right in the mix to make you some money heading into the end of the year.

Race 1 – Benchmark 70 (2025m)

Considering is fresh off the back of a strong maiden win at Moe and looks well placed to record consecutive victories. Four-year-old mare is the only horse that has won in its last four races and we think the winning form will be beneficial here.

Race 1 tip: Considering to win at Neds

Race 2 – Maiden (1400m)

Pamela Joy has a 100 percent placing record from five races and we are backing it to finally breakthrough and record the elusive win on Friday. The horse was beaten by smart type Fille De Charlie at the Valley last time out, and we think that will provide the perfect lead-in to this event.

Race 2 tip: Pamela Joy to win at Ladbrokes

Race 3 – Maiden Plate (1400m)

Kalleske has finished within a length of the winner on both of its race starts to date and it looks well placed to go one better on Friday. On debut in New Zealand the horse only just missed out, then ran strongly at the Valley, only to just miss out by eight parts of a length. We are backing the horse to deliver the goods on Friday.

Race 3 tip: Kalleske to win at Neds

Race 4 – Maiden Plate (1600m)

De’ Majico has been progressing with every run lately and looks poised to go one better. The horse finished third two starts back and was admittedly a mile off, but the last-start second was much better, finishing less than a length away at Colac on December 16.

De’ Majico’s time is now.

Race 4 tip: De’ Majico to win at William Hill

Race 5 – Maiden Plate (1600m)

Many Rewards had been racing in good form prior to a step-up in class at Sandown last-start where it confronted the red-hot Vinland. The horse drops back to a maiden event and we think it will be taking this race out easily here.

Many Rewards is our next best bet of the night at Cranbourne

Race 6 – Benchmark 64 (2520m)

Casa Larada is a progressive type that is debuting at benchmark 64 level. The horse won well at Bendigo on November 14 and in a smaller field on Friday we believe it can make it two in a row after a short let-up.

Race 6 tip: Casa Larada to win at CrownBet

Race 7 – Benchmark 64 (1200m)

Cuban Missile won well at Bairnsdale last time out and is in top quality form. The horse returns to a track it has placed at before and a distance it has won at four times in the past. Looks well placed to make it a fifth win from 24 attempts.

Cuban Missile is our best bet of the night at Cranbourne

Race 7 tip: Cuban Missile to win at Ladbrokes

Race 8 – Benchmark 58 (1300m)

Deadly Choices looking to make it two wins from as many second-up attempts in the final event on the card. The horse finished second behind Onehundred Percent at Werribee last time out, which went on to record a strong win at Caulfield on Boxing Day at benchmark 70 and above level.

Looks to be a great indication that a great run is in order for the four-year-old.

Race 8 tip: Deadly Choices to win at Neds
