After travelling three-wide for much of the journey, Williams maintained his composure, taking the $2.50 favourite to the front of the field at the 300m and never looking back to record a comfortable victory.
Thank God for Fuhryk. got to love Hayes @juszko87

Stablemate Miss Gunpowder rocketed home down the outside to claim second and return $3.30 at Crownbet.com.au, while Ravi ($1.70 at Sportsbet.com.au) rallied from last on the turn to pinch third.
Despite the strong performance, Fuhryk did not make any ground in the Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap market at Ladbrokes.com.au.
Fuhryk is a $26 outsider for the feature at Eagle Farm on June 10 at Ladbrokes behind stablemate Goodwood winner Vega Magic ($11).
