Race 1 – BM74 Handicap (1200m)

Pretty Fast lives up to its name and its last two wins have been impressive. The Snowden-trained three-year-old filly steps up in grade here after winning twice at Newcastle, but she looks to have plenty of ability and there’s some breeding to live up to.

Lipizzan is a speedy customer which takes some running down on its day. The Gary Portelli-trained filly defeated subsequent winner Tiki Bar by 1.3 lengths Canterbury last season and it then finished second behind group one placegetter Champagne Cuddles. Nice odds on offer.

Race 1 tip: Lipizzan to win ($7) at Sportsbet.com.au

Race 2 – BM82 Handicap (1400m)

Slow Burn has been a punters favourite so far this season, winning two of its three starts. The Les Bridge-trained mare won easily fresh up before running into Osborne Bulls at Canterbury. It scored an easy win at Rosehill last start and despite rising in weight, we wouldn’t be surprised to see a similar result.

Punters have been waiting for O’Reilly Cyrus to show its best and that could come here. The former Karaka Million nominee hit the line well at Randwick last start and it has upset potential. $19 is a nice price for the risk.

Race 2 tip: O’Reilly Cyrus to place ($4.50) at CrownBet.com.au

Race 3 – BM85 Handicap (2000m)

Carzoff scored a long overdue Australian win last start and it’s paying a nice price for punters again. The Chris Waller-trained five-year-old scored by a nose at Rosehill, but it does face a harder field here. Everything typically needs to go right during the run, but consider at $4.20.

Current favourite Impavido has been backed and beaten in all four starts this campaign, but we’ll give it another chance. The Bjorn Baker-trained gelding was good enough to run in the ATC Derby last season and it’s due to show a winning turn here.

Race 3 tip: Impavido to win ($3.80) at Neds.com.au

Race 4 – Highway Handicap (1100m)

Equal Balance is a three-year-old which didn’t have much luck when travelling four wide last start. The Kurt Goldman-trained gelding defeated the handy Easy Eddie in September and that form looks strong for a Highway Handicap. $3.80 with bookmakers.

She Knows scored a gallant win last start and it has since won a trial impressively. The Danny Williams-trained filly has shown the ability to sit on the speed, which is a good asset, and it should go close in this.

Race 4 tip: Equal Balance to win ($3.80) at CrownBet.com.au

Race 5 – November Handicap (1400m)

Firsthand was a quality winner over To Excess last start at Randwick and that form should stack up nicely here. The Hawkes-trained gelding by Star Witness has been running in good form this year and it has yet to finish outside of the money at Rosehill.

Cabeza de Vaca has won four consecutive races, which included a victory over Supply and Demand last start at Randwick. That form has Melbourne Cup carnival results running through it and it’s suited by the light weight of 54kg. It will take some catching.

Race 5 tip: Cabeza de Vaca to win ($2.70) at Neds.com.au

Race 6 – November Topaz (1900m)

Interlocuter could well be unbeaten in Australia and it’s now showing why. The James Cummings-trained import has scored impressive wins this campaign and this race looks well within its reach again. Short odds are on offer, but that looks like smart money.

Black on Gold was no match for Interlocuter last time they met, but it has since won nicely. The Waller-trained gelding drove hard to win the Topaz Preview last start and it has the ability to turn the tables on the favourite.

Race 6 tip: Interlocuter to win ($1.80) at Sportsbet.com.au

Race 7 – BM80 Handicap (1200m)

Pipeline hasn’t been seen since January when finishing second on this track. The troublesome entire goes best on this track for trainer Gerald Ryan, but it’s had some problems in the off season. Betting will indicate if it has come back in fine order.

Best Guess has won three from eight in its career and it has come up against some nice types. The Waller-trained gelding finished third behind Pomelo last start and it was a quality winner at Canterbury prior to that. Chance here and punters are confident.

Race 7 tip: Best Guess to win ($3.50) at CrownBet.com.au

Race 8 – BM80 Handicap (1400m)

Redouble recovered well after pulling up with a problem two starts back by winning easily last start. The Baker-trained runner gelding was too strong for Dreamforce last start and that form looks nice for this. It has a tricky draw here, but it should find cover and be tough in the run to the line.

Cosmic Engine was a tough winner fresh up and it has won second up. The son of More of Ready is a four-time race winner from 11 starts which should be in the thick of the action. Punters are showing it respect at $4.80.

Race 8 tip: Redouble to win ($3.20) at Palmerbet.com.au

Race 9 – BM96 Handicap (1100m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1174355_09]

Pomelo pulled out all the stops last start when winning at Rosehill. The five-year-old mare had been labelled a wet tracker last season, but it has form on the dry surfaces and there’s plenty of confidence in the camp this time around.

Glenall has won only one from its five starts, but the talent is there. The Hawkes-trained runner showed form behind Russian Revolution and Derryn last time in work, which is superior form for this. It does need to start showing an ability to win, however.

Race 9 tip: Glenall to place ($1.80) at CrownBet.com.au
