Condover Hall is trained and ridden by Melbourne Cup-winning rider Michelle Payne and it’s in good form after a last start placing.

The three-year-old colt exceeded expectations when placing at odds of $31 last start, but it was an encouraging effort and it could go well again.

Race 2 – Maiden Plate (1450m)

Invinski has placed in three of its four starts and a win doesn’t look far away.

The Andrew Payne-trained runner isn’t bred to be a superstar, but it has been running consistent races and it’s looking to build off a quality placing at Benalla last time out.

Race 3 – Maiden Plate (1100m)

The Darren Weir stables always demands respect at these meetings and Freehearted looks a good betting chance.

Having debuted in June, the four-year-old mare hasn’t raced since, but there was plenty to like about its fourth at Murtoa and we’re expecting another tidy effort in an even race.

Race 4 – BM64 Handicap (1850m)

Scraps is coming off a win at Geelong and it looks as a winning chance again.

The Snippetson gelding capped off some consistent form with the 1.3-length win and it came in this grade.

That bodes well for this run and it gets in well on the weights relative to the rest of the field.

Race 5 – BM58 Handicap (1450m)

Mega D’oro has its hoof on the till after three straight placings coming into this.

The six-year-old is a winner of four from 28 starts and it scored a win at his only start on this track.

There’s no reason why he can’t repeat that effort here and win at each way odds.

Race 6 – R58 Handicap (1450m)

No No Nell will have plenty of punter support after scoring a fresh up win at Tatura last start.

The Damien Hunter-trained five-year-old hadn’t won in 11 starts prior to that, but the penny might have dropped and he might be in for a successful campaign.

Race 6 tip: No No Nell to win at Neds.com.au

Race 7 – R58 Handicap (1100m)

Nothing But A Saga could add some value in the final race on the card.

The four-year-old is a winner of only one from 15 starts, but it has placed in five and the mare by Real Saga could cause the upset.

Her last start placing was a good form indication for this.

Race 7 tip: Nothing But A Saga to place at CrownBet.com.au
