Bound To Win is well named at the minute as she shoots for her third straight victory in a Fillies & Mares BM78 over 1500m on Saturday. She was a dominant winner last start at this track when beating home Threeood, which won well on Monday at Warwick Farm. That win came on a Heavy 8 track, which is no fluke for a product of the Sebring line. Tommy Berry will have to find some cover from the wide draw, but the filly is going extremely well at the minute and should be too good for these.
Outrageous has been knocking on the door in each run this campaign and finds a suitable race here. Drawn in barrier three, with speed inside him, Tim Clark will land in a beautiful spot just off the speed and go one better than his last-start second. He is a two-time winner at the 1300m and has won at this track before. With main dangers in the market drawn poorly, the low draw will be especially advantageous for the All Too Hard gelding. The wet deck will not be a concern, with the 4yo having placed twice from three goes. The $6.50 is overs in our book, so get on.
James Cummings and Hugh Bowman combine in the seventh with Laburnum in an 1100m BM88. The Denman mare flies when fresh, finishing in the money three times from five first-up runs. She has placed multiple times at Rosehill and the 1100m should suit. The 4yo has also placed three times on a rain-affected track from five attempts, so she should be well suited here. There is a stack of speed in the race, so Bowman will let it all unfold in front of him from the cushy gate. The $11 appeals on an each-way basis for the Godolphin mare to return a winner.
