Frankel yearling knocked down for $1.6m

Chris Waller will train the high-profile Frankel colt out of More Strawberries which has fetched $1.6 million at the Sydney Easter sale.

Bred by John Singleton’s Strawberry Hill Stud, the colt is the highest priced of five Frankel yearlings offered at the sale.

Singleton sent More Strawberries, the 2010 Golden Slipper placegetter, to England to be mated with the unbeaten European champion.
