Four young jockeys hurt in Taree fall

Four apprentice jockeys have been taken to hospital following a multiple horse fall at Taree but all appear to have escaped serious injury.

Samantha Clenton’s mount Bazza’s Boy came down at the home turn of Monday’s first race with his rider suffering a suspected broken collarbone and leg injuries.

Blinkin Rules, ridden by Jackson Murphy and Casino Bride with Nyssa Burrells aboard both fell over the top of the stricken horse.
