Ollivander gets a chance to bounce back following a disappointing showing in a Blue Diamond prelude race. Before that the colt had registered a debut win and a second placing behind the previously undefeated Long Leaf.

Race 1 tip: Ollivander to win ($6 at William Hill)

Race 2 – Open Listed Race (2600m)

Foundry returns after a four month layoff and it looms as a live-chance to win first-up. The horse has two wins and three placings from seven resuming attempts. Back the Galileo gelding in.

Race 2 tip: Foundry to win ($3.70 at Ladbrokes)

Race 3 – Benchmark 84 (1100m)

Fragonard resumed well on February 10, finishing just over a length away from Prussian Vixen at Caulfield. That looms as the perfect tune up for this race, which should prove a much easier task.

Race 3 tip: Fragonard to win ($2.60 at Sportsbet)

Race 4 – Frances Tressady Stakes (1400m)

Two second placings from four attempts means Flippant should be right in the mix here. The horse will need some luck from barrier nine but it has enough early speed to get across smoothly.

Race 4 tip: Flippant to win ($4.60 at Sportsbet)

Race 5 – Benchmark 70 (2000m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1182165_05]

Big Pat’s Pontiac only narrowly missed out last-start at the Valley on February 2, and before that the horse had won two straight races. The four-year-old will likely drift back from a wider gate and attempt to finish over the top of them.

Race 5 tip: Big Pat’s Pontiac to win ($16 at William Hill)

Race 6 – Open Handicap (1400m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1182165_06]

Cool Chap has a first-up win in the past and looms as a winning resuming threat. The Hayes, Hayes and Dabernig trained gelding has trialed coming into this event and will be a factor in this race.

Race 6 tip: Cool Chap to win ($14 at William Hill)

Race 7 – Australian Guineas (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1182165_07]

Grunt is a gun that continues to improve with each race. The horse has three wins in a row and the last-start victory at Flemington on February 17 was ultra-impressive. We’re backing it in to win on its Group 1 debut.

Race 7 tip: Grunt to win ($5.50 at Crownbet)

Race 8 – Open Handicap (1000m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1182165_08]

We think a chance of stable will prove wonders for the talented Fell Swoop. Trainer Matty Dale is bullish about the gelding, and a win in a lead-up trial boosts our confidence. Bet with confidence.

Race 8 tip: Fell Swoop to win ($4.20 at Ladbrokes)

Race 9 – Saintly Handicap (1400m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1182165_09]

Red White And Blue is hunting a hat-trick of wins from as many starts. The horse won well at BM64 level on February 8, and the horse gets a 4kg weight relief here. The three-year-old will be a major factor despite the wider gate.

Race 9 tip: Red White And Blue to win ($12 at Neds)
