Race 1 – The Asian Executive Stakes (1100m)

Khulaasa was a nose away from winning on debut and we think it can go one better in the second start. The horse is a progressive type and we’re backing it in to deliver here.

Race 1 tip: Khulaasa to win ($4.40 at William Hill)

Race 2 – Benchmark 84 (2000m)

Khutulun is going for back-to-back wins and we think it has a terrific chance to deliver. The horse won by a lip at Caulfield a week ago, and before that it had recorded two straight third placed finishes. Without a ton of early speed the inside draw could help.

Race 2 tip: Khutulun to win ($4.60 at Neds)

Race 3 – Benchmark 84 (1400m)

Sharing should be winning this one. The horse has a win against the girls at this grading on January 13 and we don’t think bringing the males into the mix will have that much of an impact on the six-year-old.

Race 3 tip: Sharing to win ($2.75 at Sportsbet)

Race 4 – Benchmark 84 (1600m)

Kings Will Dream is hunting a fourth-straight victory and is well placed to get it. Darren Weir’s gelding is undefeated this preparation and has never missed a placing at the mile. Back Kings Will Dream in with confidence.

Race 4 tip: Kings Will Dream to win ($2.10 at Sportsbet)

Race 5 – Benchmark 90 (1200m)

Handsome Thief is undefeated across two runs third-up and after two races where it has finished within a length of the winner, it looms as a winning threat. The horse gets a great gate and doesn’t have to carry a ton of weight.

Race 5 tip: Handsome Thief to win ($3.60 at Neds)

Race 6 – Vanity Stakes (1400m)

Dismiss the poor showing at the Cranbourne trial, Aloisia is a star filly that will not be beaten here. The gun runner didn’t get things its way in the VRC Oaks, but it is a talent that has a bright future ahead of it.

Race 6 tip: Aloisia to win ($2.80 at William Hill)

Race 7 – CS Hayes Stakes (1400m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1181632_07]

Cliff’s Edge has a lot of ton of talent and we think it should win once again. The Weir runner delivered a great run at Caulfield on February 3 and it has a great opportunity to go back-to-back.

Race 7 tip: Cliff’s Edge to win ($5 at Crownbet)

Race 8 – Black Caviar Lightning Stakes (1000m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1181632_08]

Redzel is the best sprinter in the world and should prove it here. The horse has recorded six-straight wins and trashed the field last-start in the Darley. You don’t need us to tell you how good this horse is, but we will tell you it won its last trial brilliantly. Back Redzel in.

Race 8 tip: Redzel to win ($1.80 at Ladbrokes)

Race 9 – Open Handicap (1400m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1181632_09]

Tally is a classy horse that can deliver first-up. In a huge field here it will need some luck, but it has a record of a win and two placings from five starts. The place is the right move here.

Race 9 tip: Tally to place ($6.50 at Crownbet)
