Favourite out of the Champagne Stakes

Champagne Stakes favourite Yankee Rose has failed a veterinary inspection and is out of the Group One race.

The ATC Sires’ Produce winner has been battling to overcome a hoof injury since last Saturday when she pulled a shoe off during an exercise gallop.

Racing NSW chief vet Craig Suann examined the filly on race eve and ruled her out of Saturday’s race.
