Gordon Elliott is responsible for six of the 11 entries for the Coral Flyingbolt Novice Chase at Navan on Saturday.

The Cullentra handler claimed the Grade Three prize last season with Ball D’Arc and looks set to mount another strong challenge this weekend.

Mengli Khan and Duca De Thaix have both been given the option of dropping in class after finishing third and fourth respectively behind the now-sidelined Le Richebourg in the Irish Arkle at Leopardstown earlier this month.

Hardline could also have his sights lowered after placing third behind Warren Greatrex’s top-class mare La Bague Au Roi in the Flogas Novice Chase at the same Leopardstown fixture.

Elliott’s other contenders are Cubomania, Mrs Lovett and Veinard.

The Paul Nolan-trained Quamino could go up in grade after winning in handicap company at the Dublin Racing Festival.

Ellmarie Holden may saddle Ex Patriot following his recent success at Thurles.

The potential field is completed by John Nicholson’s Benruben, Henry de Bromhead’s Game Of War and Jetz from Jessica Harrington’s yard.
