Echuca Races Betting Preview
A perfect spring day is forecasted for Echuca, where another week of Group 1 racing in Victoria is set to get underway. The track has come up a Good 4 at the time of writing, and with a nine race card set down for judgement, each galloper will have its chance throughout the day.
The first of nine is set to jump at 1pm AEDT, where the rail is in the true position for the entire circuit.
It has been a frustrating campaign for this Mike Moroney 4YO mare, who since her maiden win at Warrnambool first up, has yet to go on with it. She has been racing in the metropolitan scene and should take advantage of the drop in grade here. She gets the services of Jordan Childs here, and from barrier 12. He’ll look to get the mare up on speed and she should have enough residual race fitness on her side to get the job done.

Leon & Troy Corstens team up with Daniel Stackhouse with their 4YO mare who was just held out last start at Benalla after making a big run from the rear of the field. From barrier six, she should be able to settle a bit closer to the speed. She gets back to a non rain-affected track for the first time since her first two runs where she was able to score on debut as well. With race fitness on her side, she should be able to get the job done for punters in the penultimate race of the day.

Danny O’Sullivan 5YO mare is as tough as old boots and was an eye catcher at her last start at Swan Hill to just miss the minor money. She’s drawn barrier two and will look to use that to her advantage and may take up a more prominent position with Jordan Childs aboard. She remains at her preferred distance of 1600 metres, and will appreciate the firm going and will give you a good sight at odds.
