Dee loses appeal, Dunn champion apprentice
Dylan Dunn is Melbourne’s champion apprentice with his only rival Michael Dee failing to have a careless riding suspension overturned.
Dee, two wins behind Dunn, lost his appeal on Wednesday ruling him out of the final two meetings of the season.
Dunn’s jockey father Dwayne is three wins behind Craig Williams in the battle for the senior premiership with the latter sitting out Wednesday’s Sandown meeting through suspension.
