Deanne Panya stood down after fall

Apprentice Deanne Payne has been stood down from riding until she passes a second concussion test after a fall at the Warwick Farm barrier trials.

Panya, who came off a horse before a trial on Thursday, was assessed on Friday by Racing NSW doctor David Duckworth who determined she should not ride for at least six days.

She will need to pass a satisfactory cognitive test next Wednesday before she can ride again.

Panya had been booked for rides over the weekend at Rosehill and Goulburn.
