On Sunday at Fontwell, a horse that was beaten some 50 lengths was declared the winner in unbelievable circumstances after being the only competitor to clear all hurdles in the running. On-course officials had to enter the track late in the running to attend an injured jockey, and the other hoops misread the sign to avoid the second-last jump, instead avoiding the third-last jump and being disqualified.
