Race 1 – Open Handicap (1600m)

Snogging returns to Victoria after poor showing at Morphettville. The horse is third-up, and delivered a strong win when it resumed on March 21.

Race 1 tip: Snogging to win ($2.60 at Sportsbet)

Race 2 – Open Handicap (1200m)

Divine Quality has a great record of two wins from as many first-up starts and we’re backing it in here to deliver. The horse trailed coming into this event and it has never missed a placing from four attempts at the distance.

Race 2 tip: Divine Quality to win ($4 at Neds)

Race 3 – Benchmark 90 (1600m)

Sunday Pray won well at BM78 level on April 11 and looms as a strong candidate coming into this race. The horse jumps in grading but drops 4kg from that last-start win, which should prove pivotal.

Race 3 tip: Sunday Pray to win ($3 at Sportsbet)

Race 4 – Benchmark 70 (1100m)

Keep Courting gets a tough gate to jump from but we’re backing it in to produce. In two of its last three starts the horse has won, including a race at this level against the girls on March 28.

Race 4 tip: Keep Courting to win ($14 at Sportsbet)

Race 5 – Open Handicap (1200m)

Sun Quan resumes after a five month break hoping to continue the red-hot form before being turned out. The horse completed a hat-trick prior to the break in the paddock and if it brings back that type of form it can deliver here fresh.

Race 5 tip: Sun Quan to win ($7.50 at William Hill)

Race 6 – Redoute’s Choice Stakes (1200m)

Sunset Watch is seeking a hat-trick here and presents as the best hope in this race. The colt’s two wins have been by over two lengths and it should be too slick for this field.

Race 6 tip: Sunset Watch to win ($1.95 at Sportsbet)

Race 7 – Open Handicap (1100m)

The undefeated Island Daze is one of the better bests of the day at odds. If it gets across smoothly from barrier eight the filly can maintain the great form which has seen her win twice with ease.

Race 7 tip: Island Daze to win ($9 at Neds)

Race 8 – Benchmark 84 (1400m)

Notio jumps in class here but can be a major player. The horse has not missed a placing this preparation, including a last-start win as a short-priced favourite. From the perfect gate and a lower weight the gelding will be hard to hold out.

Race 8 tip: Notio to win ($6.50 at Ladbrokes)

Race 9 – Benchmark 84 (2000m)

No Commitment has a horrible gate to contend with but it bring in sensational form. A win on Saturday would be a third-straight success, and before that the horse had placed second in back-to-back events.

Race 9 tip: No Commitment to win ($8 at Ladbrokes)
