Capitalist favourite for G3 San Domenico

Golden Slipper winner Capitalist is favoured to return to the track a winner in the Group Three San Domenico Stakes.

The prized colt is rated a $1.60 chance in the TAB’s early market for the San Domenico at Rosehill on Saturday.

Trainers Peter and Paul Snowden have had to delay Capitalist’s first run since winning the world’s richest two-year-old race after scratching the colt from the Group Two Missile Stakes at Randwick on Saturday because of the wet conditions.

Stablemate Russian Revolution is listed at $4.60 to win the San Domenico, but he is likely to skip the race in favour of meeting other three-year-olds in the Vain Stakes at Caulfield.
