Race 1 – Maiden Handicap (1200m)

Godolphin runner Pindus went around as a $21 outsider in its first and only start and exceeded expectations, finishing within two parts of a length of the winner. With natural improve to come we think it can go one better.

Race 1 tip: Pindus to win ($7 at William Hill)

Race 2 – Maiden Plate (1200m)

Classy operator Primitivo will be hard to hold out here. The horse missed out by less than a length in two-straight races before being turned out. The Sebring gelding looks better than this lot.

Race 2 tip: Primitivo to win ($3.30 at Neds)

Race 3 – Benchmark 72 (1550m)

Chris Waller runner Impasse was an impressive winner at Newcastle on February 3 and looks primed to continue that good form. The horse won by just shy of two lengths on that day and will be spearing out from barrier five to win this from the front.

Race 3 tip: Impasse to win ($5 at Sportsbet)

Race 4 – Benchmark 74 (1550m)

Danzie was unlucky last-start at Randwick after missing out by three parts of a length and we’re backing it in to bounce straight back. The Fastnet Rock gelding is the best horse in this field and will prove that with ease.

Race 4 tip: Danzie to win ($1.60 at Sportsbet)

Race 5 – Benchmark 77 (1100m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1181820_05]

Kennedy will be looking to do the royal blue proud here. The horse has not missed a placing across five runs this preparation and has only missed the placings once over this distance in five attempts. The pedigree is there.

Race 5 tip: Kennedy to win ($3.20 at Neds)

Race 6 – Benchmark 76 (1900m)

The hat-trick seeking Cyrus Rocks is in career-best form right now. The son of Bernardini only rises half a kilo on its last-start win at BM723U level on on February 9. This appears within Cyrus Rocks grasp.

Race 6 tip: Cyrus Rocks to win ($4.20 at William Hill)

Race 7 – Benchmark 74 (1250m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1181820_07]

Irithea drops in class after a resuming sixth at Canterbury on February 2. The horse has a win and a placing second-up in the past and is a beast at this distance. Back Irithea in here.

Race 7 tip: Irithea to win ($4.40 at Crownbet)

Race 8 – Benchmark 77 (1100m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1181820_08]

Miss Que won well first-up last-start and looms as the winner in the final event here. The horse should settle at the back of the field and launch over the top of them as it did in the resuming run.

Race 8 tip: Miss Que to win ($4 at Ladbrokes)
