Buffering to jump from wide gate in Dubai

Buffering will jump from barrier nine in the Al Quoz Sprint in Dubai with wide gates considered preferable on the straight 1000m course at Meydan.

The TAB has Buffering the $7 equal second favourite with last year’s winner Sole Power while British bookmakers have him at around $11. Dubai sprint star Ertijaal is the $4 favourite.

Saturday night’s meeting features the $US10 million ($A13.13 million) World Cup with 2014 Kentucky Derby winner California Chrom favourite to avenge his second a year ago.
