Board hears submissions on Moody penalty
Counsel for Racing Victoria stewards has asked the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board to impose a two-year ban on trainer Peter Moody.
A hearing took submissions on penalty on Thursday after Moody was found guilty on charges involving Lidari returning a positive swab to cobalt after a placing in the 2014 Turnbull Stakes.
Moody was found not guilty on a charge of administration of a substance to affect performance and his counsel have called for a fine.
