The blinkers are on for Gallic Chieftain here, which could prove the difference. The Weir runner is drawn slightly wide but is the class runner of the field.

Race 1 tip: Gallic Chieftain to win ($4.80 at William Hill)

Race 2 – Benchmark 70 (1000m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183813_02]

Holy Blade bounced back to its top-line form with a last-start win at Sandown, backing up a gritty second at the Valley on February 23. The horse presents as a strong chance to go back-to-back here.

Race 2 tip: Holy Blade to win ($5 at Neds)

Race 3 – Vobis Gold Rush Plate (1000m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183813_03]

More Bricks debuted in winning fashion and has a strong chance to deliver once again in the very next start. The colt should improve on that performance and there’s no reason to believe it cannot be super competitive here.

Race 3 tip: More Bricks to win ($12 at Sportsbet)

Race 4 – Open Handicap (1100m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183813_04]

Property should be right in mix fresh here. The horse has trialed well and will look to build on that form in Saturday’s resumption.

Race 4 tip: Property to win ($2.50 at Sportsbet)

Race 5 – Benchmark 78 (1300m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183813_05]

Haski has been in good form recently and will be hard to hold out. The horse has finished second in back-to-back events, both times by less than three parts of a length. The gelding has been knocking on the door.

Race 5 tip: Haski to win ($5.50 at William Hill)

Race 6 – Bendigo Gold Bracelet (1400m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183813_06]

The first-up Tahanee can break through here. The galloper has a win and a second placing first-up and will be right in the mix from a great gate.

Race 6 tip: Tahanee to win ($7 at Neds)

Race 7 – Golden Mile (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183813_07]

The hat-trick seeking Lite’n In My Veins will be hard to beat here. The five-year-old has delivered in back-to-back events of high quality and returns to a distance where it has excelled.

Race 7 tip: Lite’n In My Veins to win ($8.50 at Ladbrokes)

Race 8 – Bendigo Guineas (1400m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183813_08]

Holbien has been terrific this preparation, winning three of its last four runs. The horse is fresh out of a 3YO Handicap win at Flemington on March 17 and presents as an excellent winning chance.

Race 8 tip: Holbien to win ($5 at Crownbet)

Race 9 – Benchmark 90 (1400m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183813_09]

King’s Command is seeking a third-straight win here, and the only thing that will hold it back is the wide alley. The horse dominated last time out, and that looms as a good lead in.

Race 9 tip: King’s Command to win ($5 at Crownbet)
