Race 1 – Maiden Plate (1206m)

Radiant Warrior has progressed in its two career starts. After a fourth on debut the horse went on to finish second on March 25. If it can show that natural progression one again it will be taking this race out.

Race 1 tip: Radiant Warrior to win at William Hill

Race 2 – Maiden Plate (1606m)

In three of its five race starts The Kroc has finished inside the placings. The horse gets the perfect gate to jump from and will be difficult to hold out in this maiden event.

Race 2 tip: The Kroc to win at William Hill

Race 3 – Maiden (2046m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183741_03]

Crafty Lion looks overdue for a win. In its last three runs the horse has finished within a length of the winner and from one career start at the track and distance the gelding has recorded a second placing. We think it’s Crafty Lion’s time.

Race 3 tip: Crafty Lion to win at Sportsbet

Race 4 – Maiden (1406m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183741_04]

The consistent Soluminate looks close to a victory. From four starts the horse has placed, with its worse performance a fourth placing back on March 9. We’re backing the Weir runner to do the business at the fifth time of asking.

Race 4 tip: Soluminate to win at Sportsbet

Race 5 – Benchmark 64 (1606m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183741_05]

Saucy Jack was a strong winner at Kyneton last time out and we’re confident the gelding can go back-to-back. That event was only slightly rated below this one, which means the 1.3 length win is capable of being replicated here.

Race 5 tip: Saucy Jack to win at William Hill

Race 6 – Benchmark 58 (2046m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183741_06]

Four-straight strong performances boosts our confidence that All About Julia can deliver here. The horse has been competitive over this grading since breaking the maiden tag, including a placing at BM64 level two starts back. The Pierro filly should be right in the mix.

Race 6 tip: All About Julia to win at Neds

Race 7 – Benchmark 64 (1206m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183741_07]

The third-up First Watch has the ability to take this race out. The gelding has a win this preparation and has a victory at this point in a campaign past. It bodes well for a good run.

Race 7 tip: First Watch to win at Ladbrokes

Race 8 – Benchmark 58 (1406m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183741_08]

The inside draw will favour Western Wow here. The seven-year-old has won two of its last four runs, with one of the other races a second placing, just two parts of a length away. The gelding is more than capable.

Race 8 tip: Western Wow to win at Crownbet
