Ben Currie will front the stewards once again.

Toowoomba trainer Ben Currie has been directed to appear at a reconvened stewards inquiry into activities at his stable.

Queensland Racing Integrity Commission officials made allegations about activities at Currie’s stables on the morning of the Weetwood Handicap at Toowoomba on April 7 and the trainer has been directed to appear at the inquiry on Monday.

No charges have been laid against Currie who has previously given evidence to stewards and handed over his phone and bank records.

Four people have either been suspended or disqualified as a result of the inquiry.

Currie’s father Mark Currie, a licensed trainer and foreman for his son, was on Monday found guilty of 16 charges involving race day treatments and improper practice and was disqualified for two years.

Ben Currie employees, Greg Britnell (18 months disqualification), Cameron Schwenke (three months disqualification) and Silde Canda (three months suspension) have also been punished as a result of the inquiry.
