Arrests over alleged trots race fixing
Four people have reportedly been arrested as part of an investigation into race fixing after a large harness race meeting in Melbourne’s west.
Following the Breeders Crown at TAB Park in Melton on Sunday night, police arrested four people from the racing industry in connection with an investigation into race fixing, according to the Herald Sun.
Harness Racing Victoria released a statement saying it could not comment on the investigation “in respect to the further progression” on Sunday but said it was in connection to betting and training arrangements at a race in Cobram on June 22, 2015.
